Services

Cooling first, heating when the nights turn cold

Six kinds of work. The first four have a page of their own, with what we check and what moves the price.

  • Air conditioner repair

Runs but doesn't cool, won't start, freezes, leaks or trips the breaker.

    Repair details
  • Spring tune-ups

Coil, drain, capacitor, contactor and pressures, checked before the heat.

    Tune-up details
  • System replacement

A written price for a new system, with the old one's age and condition beside it.

    Replacement details
  • Ducts and attic

Sealing, repairs and rebalancing for runs that lose cooling before it reaches a room.

    Duct details
  • Heat pumps and furnaces

Winter checks and repairs on the heating side, from November to February.

  • Thermostats and controls

Replacement and setup of the thermostat, and a wiring check at both units.

The Valley's year

What the calendar asks of an air conditioner

Demand follows the thermometer. Booking by the season keeps repairs small.

  • March – April

    Before the heat

Tune-ups and replacement quotes, while schedules are open and nothing is broken yet.

  • May – September

    The long summer

Repairs and the overnight on-call technician. Change the filter and keep the outdoor unit clear.

  • Late summer

    After the monsoon

Check for dust, surge damage and standing water around the outdoor unit.

  • October – February

    The cool months

Heating checks and duct work, when attics are bearable.
