“Our unit hummed after a storm and wouldn't start. The technician replaced the capacitor, showed me the old one, and the service call came off the bill.”
North Valley air conditioning, since 1994
The same visit fee at 2 p.m. or 2 a.m.
When the air conditioner quits in a Phoenix summer, you shouldn't have to wonder what the call costs. One flat service call, taken off the bill when you approve the repair, at every hour we staff.
- Repair price written before any work
- Dispatch answers 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
- A family firm with eight technicians

Extreme heat warning days
On a heat warning day, the day's schedule is posted right here.
The service call stays the same. If both trucks are out, dispatch gives you a window and tells you if it moves.
The rule
One fee, at any hour we staff.

Service call when you approve the repairIt comes off the repair price
Dispatch answers from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day. From 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., May through September, one technician is on call, based on capacity. If you call overnight in the cooler months, leave a message and we call you at 6 a.m.
What we fix
Four jobs, most of the year
Cooling is the work from April to October. The rest of the year is tune-ups, ducts and the heating side of the same systems.
The unit runs but the air isn't cold, or it won't start at all.
A check of the outdoor unit and the coil, done before the first hot week.
When repair and age point the same way: a written price for the new system.
Leaky, loose or crushed ducts in an attic that runs far hotter than the house.
The call
From your phone call to a cool house
Every call goes the same way, at noon or at 2 a.m.
- 01
Step 1: A person answers
Dispatch asks four things: what the unit is doing, how old it is, who is home, and where to send the truck. Heat is hardest on babies and older adults, so we ask.
- 02
Step 2: You get a window, then a text
We give a window, not a promise of a minute. The technician texts when the truck is on its way.
- 03
Step 3: The diagnosis comes first
Power, thermostat, capacitor, contactor, fan, then refrigerant pressures, in that order. You hear what we found in plain words.
- 04
Step 4: The price is written before the repair
You see the repair price before we open a part. Say no, and you owe the service call and nothing more.
- 05
Step 5: A test run before we leave
We run a full cooling cycle, read the air temperature at the vents and write it on your invoice.

Monsoon season
After a monsoon storm, turn it off first.
A power surge or a coat of dust can leave an outdoor unit humming without starting. Switch the system off at the thermostat and call us. Restarting it again and again can turn a small repair into a large one.

A family firm on the north side of the Valley
Eloy Caceres started with one truck and one rule: say what it costs before you touch anything. His daughter Evelia runs the company now, with eight technicians.
The rule is still the rule. It's why the service call is one flat fee, why a repair is priced in writing first, and why 2 a.m. costs the same as 2 p.m.
Our technicians hold EPA Section 608 certification

After the call
What customers say about the visit
“I called a little after midnight in July. A person told me the window, and the fee was what I had been quoted at noon.”
“The price of the new fan motor was written down before the box was opened. I said yes, and it was running before dinner.”
“The April tune-up caught a worn contactor. Better to swap it then than in July.”

Before you call
What does the service call cost?
One flat fee, the same at 2 p.m. and at 2 a.m. during the hours we staff. It covers the trip, the testing and a written repair price. If you approve the repair at the visit, the service call comes off it. If you say no, you owe the service call and nothing more.
Do nights and weekends cost more?
Not for the service call: it's one fee at every hour we staff, with no night or weekend surcharge. The repair itself is priced in writing before work starts, at the same labor rate at any hour.
When does someone answer the phone?
Dispatch answers from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., every day. From May through September, one technician is on call overnight, based on capacity. If that technician is already on a job, we tell you the first window we can offer.
Should I keep running it if the air is warm?
No. Switch the system to off at the thermostat and call us. Running a unit that isn't cooling can ice the coil or strain the compressor, and the repair gets bigger.
Do you work on heating too?
Yes, on heat pumps and gas furnaces, mostly in the cooler months. If a carbon monoxide alarm sounds, leave the house and call 911 before you call us.
Cooling stopped? Call now.
Dispatch picks up from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and the service call is the same all day.
